Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge staff to meet students at Eureka Springs Farmer’s Market May 7 and May 21

(Eureka Springs, AR) – May 6, 2013 – Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge (TCWR) staff members will be on hand to meet students from the Eureka Springs school at the Farmers Market on Tuesday, May 7 and Tuesday May 21 from 8 a.m. to noon each day. The refuge will have a display and interns available to answer student’s questions and sell merchandise to raise funds for animal care.

“We are always searching for opportunities to share our educational message and discuss wildlife conservation with students,” said Tanya Smith, president & founder of Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge.

Elementary school students will tour the Farmer’s Market on Tuesday, May 7 and secondary school students will visit on Tuesday, May 21.
