For decades, the generosity of our supporters has allowed TCWR to answer calls for animals in need and provide lifelong sanctuary to survivors of the Exotic Animal Trade. Every donation, sponsorship, adoption, membership, and gift helps make this mission possible.

We are especially grateful when our community responds during a rescue. These calls can come unexpectedly, requiring immediate transportation, habitat preparation, veterinary attention, medications, specialized nutrition, and coordinated care.

But bringing an animal safely to Turpentine Creek is only the beginning.

Many animals arrive carrying the consequences of their past. Some have experienced neglect, abuse, improper nutrition, or inadequate veterinary care. Others face medical conditions resulting from irresponsible breeding and inbreeding.

Once they arrive, our veterinary and Animal Care Teams begin determining what each individual needs. That may include diagnostic testing, medications, dental procedures, specialized diets, pain management, rehabilitation, or lifelong treatment.

When TCWR says yes to an animal, we are making a commitment to provide sanctuary for the rest of their life.

1. Search your employer.
Begin typing the name of your company into the Double the Donation search tool.

2. Review the guidelines.
If your employer offers a matching program, review its specific requirements. Eligibility, matching amounts, deadlines, and submission procedures vary by company.

3. Submit your request.
Follow your employer’s instructions to request a match. Many companies allow employees to complete the process through a simple online form or employee portal.

4. Multiply your impact.
Once approved, your employer can make an additional contribution to Turpentine Creek based on your qualifying donation.

You don’t necessarily have to be making a new donation to explore employer matching.

If you have already supported Turpentine Creek, search for your employer anyway. Depending on your company’s policies and deadlines, a recent gift may still qualify.

When you respond to an urgent rescue appeal, your donation helps us act when animals need us most. But the financial responsibility doesn’t end when the rescue trailer returns home.
