Each year, Turpentine Creek honors International Tiger Day- a global phenomenon celebrated on July 29th to raise awareness about these magnificent but endangered big cats. For more information on the history and significance of International Tiger Day, see our blog, The Significance of International Tiger Day Wildlife Conservation.
While the Refuge does not directly contribute to tiger conservation in the wild, we must spread awareness and education on efforts to protect endangered big cats.
Today, we vote for your Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge Tiger King and Queen (just like promo King and Queen). To vote, simply donate a minimum of $1 and type your favorite male and female tiger in the comments.
You can vote more than once. For example, you can donate $1 and cast your vote. Then, donate another $1 and vote again.
A vote is counted by entry/donation – not by dollars donated.
