Photographer Videographer

Full-Time Position

This position is full time and will work 30-40 hours a week gathering photo and video content for social media and print media. You will be capturing action shots and video of animals at the Refuge daily. Turpentine Creek is a hands-off facility, the individual who fills this role will work around the animals but not directly with the animals and will never have hands-on contact with them. You must have the ability to walk up and down hills, work in all weather conditions, and stand on your feet for 8 hours a day. During covid you must be willing to take every precaution to protect yourself from getting COVID since you will be working around big cats and they can catch Covid from humans.

This job may require weekends so you must be willing to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Pay: $13-$15 depending on experience.

Benefits: Paid Sick Days, Paid Holidays, Vacation Days (after 1 year)

Location: Hire is expected to live in the NWA region and work on-site 5 days a week. Housing and relocation are not provided.

Job Requirements

  • MUST have experience taking professional photos
  • MUST have experience taking professional video
  • Must have experience using a DSLR camera
  • Experience with Adobe Lightroom
  • Experience with Google Drive
  • Experience with Facebook live
  • Agree to follow all our safety protocols (vital, there is no ‘strike’ rule you will be let go if you violate ANY of the safety rules or try to touch our animals)
  • The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
  • The ability to climb hills and walk on uneven ground/gravel
