Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge is a nonprofit animal sanctuary that provides lifetime refuge to abandoned, abused, and neglected species of big cats and bears. We are open 7 days a week, year-round, though hours may vary during certain holidays and inclement weather. Your visit supports our mission and allows us to provide high-quality care to our animal residents. We look forward to seeing you soon!
The refuge where all the animals live is located 7 miles south of Eureka Springs at 239 Turpentine Creek Lane, Eureka Springs Arkansas 72632
We also have a downtown gift shop in the Basin Park where you can purchase tickets in advance and learn about the refuge at 2 Spring Street, Eureka Springs Arkansas 72632 (NO ANIMALS ARE AT THIS LOCATION)
- $20 for adults (20+)
- $15 for teenagers (13-19)
- $10 for kids (4-12), seniors (65+), and military
- Children under 3 are free.

Hour of Operation
We are open every day of the week from 9am until 6pm.
We offer guided walking tours every hour on the hour starting at 10am until 4pm.
Or for an additional $5 per person you can take a guided trolley tour every hour on the half-hour from 10:30am until 3:30pm.
To provide lifetime refuge for abused and neglected “Big Cats” with emphasis on tigers, lions, leopards, and cougars.
Through public education we work to end the Exotic Animal Trade, making sanctuaries like Turpentine Creek no longer necessary; together, we can preserve and protect these magnificent predators in the wild for our children’s future.
