what is enrichment

Enriching the Lives of Our Animal Residents

Permanent enrichment, such as Boomer Balls, ‘tires’ and bobbins, help to entertain our animals every single day. Our animals love their enrichment toys, but our big cats are hard on their toys. Boomer Balls and other enrichment toys might be specifically made for big cats but even they don’t last forever.

Please help enrich the lives of our animal residents by donating an enrichment toy now. Just choose the type of toy you wish to purchase for one of our animal residents.

We will give the toy to the animal in most need of enrichment toys. If there is a specific animal you want to purchase a toy for, please reach out to our Enrichment Coordinator, Jade Schleicher, to make sure that animal needs a toy.

You can also donate $10, $25, $50, or $100 towards enrichment in general and we will either put it towards a much-needed enrichment toy, or another form of enrichment such as boxes, scents, treats, or other temporary enrichment that only lasts the day.

Thank you for your help!
