Tracy was introduced to TCWR at a music festival in Kansas City, MO in 2009, where she met Tanya & Miranda and learned of their mission. Following that event, Tracy became a follower and supporter of the refuge. In 2017, Tracy visited the refuge with her husband and parents, and it was during that visit that the staff and animal residents stole her heart.
Since that first visit Tracy has returned many times to volunteer, visit with the staff & animals, and to practice her chuffing skills. Tracy says that she loves it when one of the tigers responds to her chuffing with what she calls a courtesy chuff, for her efforts.
Tracy lives in Shawnee, KS and works in the retirement administration industry. When she is not spending time at TCWR, she enjoys listening to music and watching movies with her husband, Craig, and spoiling their fur babies.
Tracy is excited to join TCWR in working toward a new future for Big Cats and other victims of the exotic pet trade.
