Meet with Curator Emily McCormack or Assistant Curator Laurie Vanderwal at 9:00 am for coffee and muffins to talk about the history of Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. Then take a behind the scenes tour to see the animals in the habitat areas and other places of interest at the Refuge. This personally guided tour will last at least two hours and give our guests a truly unique perspective on the lives of the animals who reside at Turpentine Creek and the work that we do as a non-profit sanctuary.

  • Cost is $150.00 per person.
  • Tours are limited to the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, so sign up now for the opportunity of a lifetime.
  • Bookings must be made at least three days prior to your tour date.
  • Each tour can accommodate up to five people.

Carnivore Caravan Tour

Get a private tour with an animal care staff member at 9:00 am. You and up to 4 friends can go on a personal tour of Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge! Get a behind the scenes look at Turpentine Creek while being escorted by one of our senior animal care staff members. You will be able to see all of the animals in the habitat areas, see where we prep the animals' food, get a close-up view of our vet hospital and take a tour of Rescue Ridge, an area usually restricted to visitors. This personally guided tour will last approximately one hour and give you a truly unique perspective on the lives of the animals who reside at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge.

  • Cost is $100.00 per person.
  • Tours are limited to the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month.
  • Bookings must be made at least three days prior to your tour date.
  • Each tour can accommodate up to five people.
