My wife Nancy and I went to Branson for the first time in April 2007. We were buying tickets for some shows, and we saw the TCWR brochure in the rack. I asked the ticket agent about it, and he said if you love animals, you have to go there. We went, and the first cat we saw was Hercules. We read his plaque and it broke our hearts because of the neglect to him before he arrived at TCWR. We went to lunch and talked about how we could help. We were directed to talk to Emily McCormack. Several months later, we paid for a habitat that houses Hercules and Heather. We continued to be more involved, and in 2009, I joined the Board. Nancy and I are always trying to do all we can to help the cause of TCWR.
